Watercolour is 'considered' the most difficult of mediums but we make it easy(!) Watercolour is also rewarding, relaxing and practical.
STAGE 1 We teach you all the traditional watercolour painting techniques by painting a simple seascape.
STAGE 2 We move onto to a more complex landscape - introducing larger brushes and for you to try and develop a style (very important!) Examples of good, original watercolour paintings are shown.
STAGE 3 We start bringing in some contemporary approaches to watercolour and paint at an easel, exploring the abilities of water and paint.
STAGE 4 We create a LARGE still life in watercolour - bringing in some originality and flair!!
Watercolour is NOT just the tubes of paint labelled 'watercolour' but is also acrylics mixed with water. We also make paint with pigment and gum arabic.
We take watercolour to the max!! Notes are given
